ELA Ambassador Award 2019 : All ambassadors, all leucofighters!

The 14th edition of the Ambassador Award took place at the Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie on June 5th. Like every year, this ceremony was an opportunity to thank and reward the students representing their peers during the Put On Your Sneakers and Beat the Diseasecampaign organised in their school.

Loyalty in commitment to ELA as a guiding principle

Guy Alba, President of ELA International and founder of the Association, highlighted the progress of the ’Put on your sneakers’ campaign in 2018-2019, with the commitment of more than 520,000 students, the participation of 3,000 schools and the mobilisation of more than 10,000 teachers in this action. He warmly congratulated and thanked the ambassadors and school representatives present.
It was also an opportunity for him to highlight the importance of the collective loyalty in the commitment to ELA: “ELA has been in existence for 27 years and today we have with usschools that have been participating in the operation since 1994, this loyalty is essential because a fight like the one we are fighting is a long-term one and needs long-term support”.
