2025 ‘Respite’ call for proposals

ELA International launches a 2025 ‘Respite’ call for proposals

On 11 November 2024, the first ‘Watches for ELA’ auction was held in aid of the fight against leukodystrophy. Twelve rare watches, donated by prestigious watchmakers, were sold by Christie’s.

Total funds raised amounted to CHF 843,000. This sum will enable ELA International to continue its support for medical research, as well as facilitating the organisation of moments of respite for the families of each of the ELA branches in Europe.

Because seeing each other, spending time together, sharing activities and exchanging experiences is vital for families, ELA International is inviting you to respond to its call for ‘Respite’ projects.

Each ELA branch will be eligible for a maximum of €70,000.

  • Deadline for receipt of applications: 31 March 2025
  • Examination of projects by members of the Board: April 2025
    If your project is selected, you will receive a written agreement.
  • At the end of the project, and no later than 31 December 2025, you will be required to send us a detailed, illustrated report on the respite provided for your families.
