From 9 to 11 August 2019, the families of ELA Switzerland met at the Hotel Cailler in Charmey (canton of Fribourg) for a recreational stay.On Friday evening, the 60 or so participants were welcomed by the President of ELA Switzerland, Myriam Lienhard.

Saturday morning was devoted to parents’ meeting, which gave families affected by the disease the opportunity to learn about and share their experiences. The youngest children took part in a kite making workshop initiated by Sabrina Amigoni, painter and ELA godmother. In the afternoon, the families set off to discover the world of electricity by visiting the Electrobroc site. Back at the hotel, parents and children took advantage of the benefits of the Bains de la Gruyère to relax.
On Saturday evening, the RobaRock concert, a trio led by Jacques Tâche, founder of ELA Switzerland, won over the guests, who enjoyed themselves on the dance floor and at the microphone., Later that evening, ELA’s godfather Damien Amigoni, drummer of the band Tafta, introduced the children to percussion. On Sunday morning, a lottery was organised for the children, with many board games to be played. . For the traditional group photo, Léa Aubry, Miss Suisse Romande 2019 and recently ELA’s godmother, joined us. The 2019 edition of the ELA Switzerland Family Weekend ended with smiles, emotions and, above all, unforgettable memories.
