The families from ELA Germany met in June for 3 days in the middle of the forest in Lauterbach, 80 km from Frankfurt. The 60 participants had an unforgettable experience in the theme park “Life Camp Lauterbach”. Parents and children could discover nature in all its forms in the forest during guided tours.
The most special highlight was the treetop walk, which was also accessible to children in wheelchairs. When the weather permitted, families were able to go rafting in the Werra valley and a GPS rally in the forest. After the walks, in the evenings the children could take part in drumming workshops, play football and picnic around the wood fire. It was a memorable bonding experience for the families, offered by ELA.
