On Wednesday 6 February 2019, as part of Olympic and Paralympic Week, all the students of Academic City Elementary ran for the ELA association, which works to combat leukodystrophy, a rare genetic disease.

Students from CP to CM2 put on their trainers to “beat the disease”. At the end of the race, they were surprised to receive a visit from Marion Bartoli, former tennis champion and godmother of the ELA association, who came to present them with their medals. You will soon be able to find Marion’s interview by the Radio Cartable team.

Congratulations to all for this beautiful morning of solidarity and these excellent performances! Thanks to Guillaume for organising this citizen event, to Marion Bartoli for her sponsorship and to the French Community Club for its support.
