Within the framework of international cooperation between Spanish students of the Guardia Civil and French gendarmerie students, a mythical race was organised in Valdemoro (20 km south of Madrid) on the weekend of 23rd and 24th May 2020.
It was a 24-hour relay foot race in teams of 10 participants. It gave everyone, regardless of their sporting level, the opportunity to surpass themselves for a noble cause and support the ELA association.
Thanks to its donations, ELA, the European Leukodystrophy Association, makes it possibleto improve the daily lives of thousands of children throughout Europe and to make progress in research.
This event in partnership with the City of Valdemoro, the Colegio de la guardia civil, the national gendarmerie, as well as various civil partners, created an experience rich in sport and emotions. All this with the aim of joining forces for the benefit of those who need it most.
